Short Bio

Konstantina Vasileiou is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Research Methods in Psychology in the Department of Social Work at the University of West Attica, Athens, Greece. She is also an Honorary Research Fellow (Non-Clinical), in the Department of Psychology, University of Bath, UK for the period March 2024 – March 2027. Before her election in the University of West Attica, she was an Academic Fellow in the same department (2019-2022) and a Research Associate in the Department of Psychology, University of Bath (2014-2023). She holds a PhD in Psychology and Information Systems, from Brunel University London, an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology from the University of Surrey, UK and an MSc in Organisational and Economic Psychology from Panteion University, Athens, Greece. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology in Panteion University, Athens, Greece. She has extensive research experience in health-related research using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and has been working primarily within interdisciplinary research teams. She has published in peer-reviewed international journals, book chapters and conference papers. Her scientific and research work has accumulated over 4,700 citations (google scholar) and has an h-index of 11 in Scopus. She is a reviewer in Greek and international scientific journals and has participated in scientific conferences and training seminars. She is a member of the Research Laboratory in Counseling, Psychosocial Support and Community Interventions in the Department of Social Work.
