Short Bio

Petros Kalantonis is a Professor of Financial Accounting in the Department of Tourism Management at the University of West Attica. Prof. Kalantonis is currently the Vice Rector responsible for Research and Lifelong Learning at the University of West Attica.

Moreover, he is the director of the Inter-Institutional Master’s Program in “Business Operations Management,” co-organized by the University of Western Attica and the Technical University of Crete, and a member of the teaching staff in the Accounting Thematic Unit of the Business Administration Program at the Hellenic Open University.

Petros Kalantonis has significant experience in both administrative and research positions. He has served as Deputy Chairman of the Department of Tourism Management at the University of West Attica and as Vice President of the Research Committee at the University of Western Attica. He has also been a professor in postgraduate programs at various higher education institutions in Greece, a research associate at the Technological Research Center of Piraeus and Islands, and the director of various laboratories at the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus and the University of West Attica.

Prof. Kalantonis has extensive writing and teaching experience, and his scientific publications have received more than 500 citations.
