Admission Requirements

We are seeking motivated and passionate individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Qualifications (Essential): Completion of high school or equivalent with a strong academic record. If you are a last year senior high school student, you can get a conditional offer subject to the submission of your certified diploma before the official enrolment.
  • Personal Statement (Essential): A written statement detailing your interest in the programme and career aspirations.
  • Letters of Recommendation (Desirable): Two letters from academic or professional references.
  • Certified copy of English language (Essential)

Application Process

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by following these steps:

1. Online Application: Complete the online application form available on our website https://philosophy-business.uniwa.gr/admissions/
2. Submit Documents: Upload your academic transcripts, personal statement, English Certificate and letters of recommendation.
3. Online Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview (virtual).

Documents that must be Submitted:

  1. Completed online Application form.
  2. CV in English
  3. For already graduates: Senior High School Graduation Certificate. For those who are still studying: Final year academic transcript. In case the transcripts are not in English a certified copy of English translation is needed. Candidates will be admitted if they have obtained at least a pass mark in their final year of secondary school.
  4. Certificate of competency in English (not required for native speakers): English language proficiency certificate at B2 level or ILTS score > 5.5 (or equivalent) or TOEFL score > 79/120
  5. Letter of Personal Statement
  6. Copy of valid Passport
  7. One (1) photo (small)

    Before Submitting your Application:

    At this stage, you must have certified your original documents and their official translation into English. You can do this, by having the Apostille attached to them, if your country is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention. Find Apostille countries in https://www.hcch.net/en/states/hcch-members  

    Or by having them notarized by a Notary Public (Notarial Certificates). Alternatively, by having them attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs /or the Ministry of Education of the issuing country.

    Following your initial application, you will obtain an application ID. Please keep your application ID for future reference.

    The Admission Office will then:

      • check your credentials
      • assess your overall grade against the general performance criterion
      • inform you about your eligibility for admission to the program

    In case your application is successful:

    • You need to pay the first instalment of your fees to the University of West Attica to secure your place.
    • apply for a student visa in your country.
    • Health insurance: You should have arranged for private health insurance, covering your stay in Greece during your studies before you can enrol in the program.
